GILBERT WELCOMES £1.2M INVESTMENT IN CORNWALL'S NHS

Stephen Gilbert MP has welcomed the news that the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust will receive £1.2million of capital investment from this Coalition Government.

The money is part of a national investment programme which will see over £72million spent to improve urgent care facilities and £20million towards new state-of-the-art equipment.

Commenting, Stephen Gilbert said:

"This is great news for Cornwall, this Government is investing much needed funding in our NHS to ensure that our dedicated doctors and nurses can work in the best equipped and most suitable hospitals."
