GILBERT PRAISES COMMUNITY SPIRIT DURING JUBILEE WEEKEND

Stephen Gilbert, MP for mid-Cornwall, has commended the Cornish community spirit that marked the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations over the weekend.

The Cornish MP said:

"It was great to see the community in and around St Austell come together across the generations to pay a heartfelt tribute to our Queen who has dedicated six decades of service to our nation - the town and the villages around really put some wellie into marking this Jubilee weekend and it's a weekend that we won't forget."
