Stephen Gilbert's Parliamentary Expenses
All Members of Parliament are given 'expenses' to enable them to go about their work.
These expenses cover items such as renting an office in the MP's constituency, travel between the MP's constituency and Westminster, stationary for the office, staff to assist the MP complete his/her work and accomodation in London while Parliament is sitting.
The body which regulates the expenses which MPs can claim (IPSA - the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority) has recently begun to publish all MPs expenses claims.
