STEPHEN GILBERT CONGRATULATES 'OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES' AT THE BUGLE BAND CONTEST

Local MP, Stephen Gilbert, attended the annual West of England Bandsmen's Festival (Bugle Band Contest) last Saturday. Stephen congratulated all the bands from his constituency, describing them as 'outstanding'.

Commenting, Stephen said:

"The Bugle Band Contest was a fantastic day out, there really is no better way of spending a sunny Saturday afternoon in Cornwall than hearing some of our outstanding traditional talent.

"I would like to congratulate all the entries for the contest, I thought they were all great and I look forward to hearing them again next year at the centenary."
